Hi, I'm Ryan Wimperis, founder of Amethyst Healing & Wellness.

I believe better sleep has the power to change lives. After more than 17 years working in sleep medicine as a sleep technologist, I've helped more than 6,000 patients and clients navigate insomnia, sleep apnea, PAP therapy challenges, and many of the obstacles that prevent people from getting the restorative sleep they deserve.

Along the way, I realized something important: better sleep isn't something you force—it's something you prepare for. Quality sleep isn't determined by a single supplement, gadget, or quick fix. It's influenced by our daily habits, circadian rhythms, stress levels, environment, nervous system health, pain, physical discomfort, breathing, and countless other factors that are unique to each individual.

That realization led me to create Amethyst Healing & Wellness. My practice combines more than 17 years of experience in sleep medicine with a whole-person, evidence-informed approach to help people better understand their sleep and create lasting improvements in their health and well-being.

As I expanded my education in therapeutic massage and relaxation therapies, I gained a deeper appreciation for the relationship between pain, physical discomfort, nervous system regulation, and restorative sleep. Although my practice is now fully focused on sleep health, that perspective continues to shape how I work with people today—looking beyond symptoms to identify the many factors that may be affecting their sleep and overall well-being.

Today, I specialize in Sleep Coaching (In-Person & Virtual), PAP Support (CPAP, BiPAP & ASV), Sound Immersion Experiences, Sleep Education, and Corporate Wellness.

Why Work With Me?

Unlike many sleep coaches, my recommendations are built upon more than 17 years of hands-on experience in sleep medicine and helping more than 6,000 patients and clients with a wide variety of sleep challenges and PAP therapy difficulties.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions, trendy sleep hacks, or quick fixes.

My approach is about helping you understand what's actually affecting your sleep, educating you on the science behind healthy sleep, and creating practical, personalized strategies that fit your life.

Whether we're working together through Sleep Coaching, PAP Support, or Sound Immersion, my goal is to help you feel confident, empowered, and equipped with the knowledge to improve your sleep for years to come.
